Why I Can’t Lose Weight
Like I said I muddled that phrase most my life. This is especially true my later years in life. In my youth I was always the one everybody said they were jealous over. I ate and ate a lot but never seemed to gain a pound. You get a lot of dirty looks from certain people when you are like that.
Little did they know my body was just storing all those calories so they could reveal themselves at the worse possible time. The summer before High School started. You see I had a growth spurt and it was not up but rather out. As the school year quickly started to approach. I was getting wider and wider. This is not a good way to start high school. I really wish now that they had Prevail Trim back then. It sure would have made a big difference in my life.
I will skip the names I heard because if you were ever like me. And had that happen we don’t need to relive those days. Over that summer I must have gained around 60 pounds without growing an inch. This made a rough first few years of School. Hearing “You will grow into it” from your parents were no condolences to my weight problem.
What I Did To Lose It
The summer before my Senior year I was determined to lose that weight for graduation. So during that summer I hung up my car keys and oiled up my bike. I rode that thing everywhere and the hotter the day was the better. YesI missed a lot of fun that summer but it paid off. I did grow a bit and lost about 30 pounds.
