Juiciest Burger Ever Make These Steakhouse Style Burger At Home
The Ingredients
MAKES 10 BURGERS.
2 pieces white sandwich bread, crusts removed and cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1/3 cup low fat milk
2-1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced
1-1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
3 pounds 85% lean ground beef
3 scallions, finely sliced (optional)
Non-flammable cooking spray to grease grill
10 hamburger buns
How To Make These Juiciest Burger
In a large mixing bowl combine the milk and bread. Using a fork mash and mix the two together. until a chunky paste is formed. Then add the salt, pepper, garlic, ketchup, and Worcestershire to the bowl. Mix all these ingredients together. Add in the Ground Beef and scallions and combine all the ingredients together ***Tip Do Not over mix or your burgers won’t be as Juicy
Take the mixture and divide into 10 equal portions. Forming loose balls of the meat. Flatten these balls into 3/4 inch patties (around 4 1/2 inches around. ***Tip make sure to make a slight dimple in the middle of the patties. this will prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
Grilling is the preferred method of cooking. But using a cast-iron skillet on the stove will still give you great results (If using a cast-iron skillet adding butter as well as the cooking spray will give you a great flavor). Either way pre-heat the grill or pan.
Cook the burgers (Covered) until nicely browned on the first side. this should take 2 to 4 minutes. Flip the burgers over and continue to cook. Until the desired doneness is reached. Add cheese is desired. Serve on toasted buns with any toppings you like. ***Tip Do Not Press the burgers all this does you push all the juices out. And only flip once.
Freezer friendly instructions: The uncooked burgers can be frozen for as long as 3 months. Freeze first on a dish or baking sheet to keep the shape of the burgers. Then you can put them in sealable plastic bags. To defrost- defrost them overnight in the refrigerator and cook as directed above.
